Same clock. Same tools. Who ships?

THE RULES

The rules every competitor signs up to.

THE CLOCK

30 minutes: Round 1 (9 min), corner break (90 s), Round 2 (9 min), corner break with the Scope Creep card (90 s), Round 3 (9 min). Then Code Freeze: hands off. A 2-minute Deploy Window follows only to publish and submit the live URL. No edits.

THE SPEC

The spec is drawn live at the bell from the arena's deck. Every spec has one core action and three to five stretch goals. The host ticks each item on screen the moment it works in a competitor's preview.

THE START

Every competitor starts a new Lovable project on stream after the draw: empty project knowledge, no remix, no imported repo, no pasted code or files. Typing prompts is the fight.

THE ARENA

Every night is fought in a different arena with its own spec deck and one stage rule. The stage rule applies to both competitors for the whole bout.

SCOPE CREEP

One per bout. During Round 2, chat votes one of three Scope Creep cards in a 60-second poll. The winning card is revealed at the second corner break and applies to both competitors for Round 3.

SCORING

Two panel judges score every round on the 10-point system: 10–9 for the better round, 10–8 for a dominant one, 10–10 if even. A judge's card is the total of their three rounds. The audience card is a 3-minute poll that opens at Code Freeze. Two of three cards wins.

RESULTS

Decision: two of three cards. No Ship: no live URL when the Deploy Window closes. Crash: the app is live but its core action fails on two tries for both panel judges. Draw: cards split evenly, or both competitors fail to ship or crash. Tap Out: a competitor stops before Code Freeze. Overturned: a rules breach found in the recording within 24 hours reverses the result. Records are W–L–D.

ENTRY

Season 1 is invite only: the commissioner picks the eight competitors, and there is no qualifier this season. Qualifiers are planned from Season 2, where every competitor first ships one 15-minute solo spec and the result seeds The Draw.

THE TITLE

Season 1 has eight competitors in two groups of four, set at The Draw on Tue 10 Nov. Each group is a round robin: every competitor fights the other three, twelve group matches over Vibe Nights 01–06, two per night. The top two of each group cross over in the semi-finals at Vibe Night 07: A1 vs B2 and B1 vs A2. Vibe Night 08 on the Main Stage has the third-place match and the title fight. Group standings: wins first, then fewer losses, then total judges' points.

FAIR PLAY

Screen and camera are shared for the full 30 minutes. No phone or second screen during the bout. A rules breach found in the recording within 24 hours turns the result into a loss. If an API key appears on screen, the host cuts away and the competitor rotates the key after the bout.
